AE-type glass-lined reactors

Standard glass-lined reactors within the AE series ranging 63÷400 litres, constructed in two pieces according to DIN 28136.

The AE series reactor family comprises models with nominal capacities ranging from 63 to 400 litres, made of glass-lined steel with bolted covers, capable of operating at pressures between -1 and 6 bar and temperatures between -25 and 200°C.

All reactors come with a jacket for thermal regulation and an agitation unit consisting of an ATEX motor and reducer/variator, double cartridge mechanical seal with flushing barrels, and a glass-lined agitator with an anchor or impeller terminal, along with an optional manual or pneumatic bottom valve, also equipped with a temperature probe. The construction follows the calculation codes EN 13445/VSR/AD2000 and complies with Directive 2014/68/EU “PED.”

All reactor components are manufactured in accordance with DIN 28063 and, during glass-lining, undergo dielectric and thickness tests according to ISO 28721 and ISO 2746.

Standard technical features

  • Handhole with nozzles and clamps according to DIN 28139-3 / 28152
  • Nozzles with PN 10 flange and free flange in two halves according to DIN 2873 and EN 1092-1
  • PTFE envelope gaskets with stainless steel insert
  • Agitation unit with double cartridge mechanical seals with flushing barrels
  • Glass-lined anchor or impeller with 3 curved blades (other materials available on request)
  • Three-phase electric motor unit with speed reducer prepared for inverter or with manual vertical or horizontal variable speed drive in ATEX version
  • Wave breaker with PT100
  • Support via legs and/or lateral brackets
